Air & Feeder Truck service

HELLAS Logistics attempts to bridge the gap between sea and air freight through this mode of service which is a cost-effective yet time-sensitive solution.

For imports and when a) the air-space is limited during the peak season from Far East or North America or b) the shipments are larger from the capacity of the aircrafts that are landing at Athens airport, we route these shipments via Luxembourg with aircrafts that have larger and guaranteed capacity. From Luxembourg we pick up the shipments with our own feeder trucks, forwarding them to the Greek customs, clear them and deliver them direct to the final consignee.

For exports of shipments that are larger from the capacity of the aircrafts that will take off from Athens airport, we pick up the shipments with our own feeder trucks from the exporters premises, we forward them to the Greek customs, clear them, transport them to our transhipment hub in Luxembourg and load them to an aircraft with larger capacity.
